Over the last few years, this wave has become one of the favorite zones in the Eastern Cape, its popularity has been helped by its easy access, but especially its consistency during the hot seasons (spring and summer).
On a good day, coming from the dirt road to the Eastern Cape, the bay you can see from above, those offshore waves breaking perfectly in the blue water, is a nasty thing to get excited about before surfing that point roof.
Since most surf spots in the desert are very undulating and extend far above the rock bottom (reef), this is a slightly faster water ramp that breaks to the right, giving surfers the stability they need for fun surf sessions. which can be achieved by almost any surfer and any surfboard.
Unlike most surf spots in the area, this wave is special because it works well in windy conditions, making it a good choice when the gusts come from the Sea of Cortés without warning.
We recommend you surf this break with a good paddle board so you can catch a lot of water ramps in this place.
